What is the conference agenda?

Each day at EMS Live is packed with a variety of keynotes, breakout sessions and networking events offering valuable insight into meeting and room scheduling, workplace and campus management, software best practices and more. 

What is covered in the Product Workshops?

Product Workshops are educational sessions that demonstrate EMS meeting and room scheduling best practices. Led by EMS product experts, these workshops provide tips and tricks to help users get the most out of their EMS system in the most efficient ways possible.

Will there be Product Workshops specific to EMS Lite?

Product Workshops will not cover EMS Lite. Users of the EMS Lite product are best served through the self-service or online training options found in our Support Center at www.emssoftware.com/support. The keynote sessions and access to the Learn area will be highly beneficial to all EMS Software users.

Do any of the sessions require pre-registration to secure my spot?

Most of the sessions do not require pre-registration. However, we strongly encourage that you create your personal schedule in the conference app which will be available soon.

Pre-registration is required for appointments at the Learn area, Networking event and Clinic workshops. You may register for the Clinics for an additional fee via our registration page. Registration for appointments at the Learn area will be available closer to the conference date.

What is the Learn area?

The Learn area offers one-on-one time with members of the EMS support, development and consulting teams. Appointments are highly encouraged. Scheduling will become available closer to the conference date. 

Should I attend the Beginner Clinic?

Specifically aimed at new users of EMS software, Beginner Clinics cover the basics of EMS. Led by a member of the EMS consulting team, each participant will have access to a laptop pre-loaded with EMS software to follow and practice specific tasks under the direction of the instructor.

How do I attend a Beginner or Advanced Clinic?

Beginner and Advanced Clinics may be added to your full conference registration for an additional fee. Availability is extremely limited and early sign-up is recommended. Regular payment terms and cancellation policy applies. Add a Clinic on the registration page.

What materials do I need to bring?

It is not necessary to bring any materials with you to the conference. Session information is displayed on-screen for easy note taking. All session presentations will be made available for download via a survey that will be available post-conference.

What is the conference dress code?

Conference attire is casual and you are encouraged to dress for comfort. It is recommended that you bring a light jacket or sweater to all sessions, as room temperatures can vary. Check back soon for details around appropriate attire at Tuesday night's Attendee Appreciation Event. 

How do I get to the Hyatt Regency Denver at Colorado Convention Center?

The Hyatt Regency Denver at Colorado Convention Center is approximately a 40-minute drive from Denver International Airport. Uber, Lyft, Taxis and a variety of van services are all available from the airport.

Travelers can also use the A Line, the new rail service from Denver International Airport to LoDo's (lower downtown) Union Station and back, courtesy of Regional Transportation District (RTD). The Denver airport rail has six stops along the way and takes approximately 37 minutes.

As a reminder, your hotel reservation, airfare, and transportation to and from the airport are not included in the full conference registration fee. For more information on transportation, please visit the EMS Live Hotel & Travel page.

What is included in the conference registration fees?

Full Conference Registration Fee includes:

  • Admission to all keynotes and sessions (October 2, 3)
  • Admission to networking events (October 1)
  • Breakfast and lunch (October 2, 3)
  • Admission to the Attendee Appreciation Event hosted by EMS (October 2)

Full Conference Registration Fee DOES NOT include:

  • Admission to the Beginner and Advanced Clinic workshops (October 1)
  • Travel arrangements and costs
  • Lodging
  • Parking fees
  • Ground transportation to and from the airport
  • Guest access to any sessions or the Attendee Appreciation Event

Beginner and Advanced Clinic Registration Fee includes:

  • Admission to your choice of one Beginner or Advanced Clinic workshop (October 1)
  • Breakfast and Lunch (October 1)
  • Access to a laptop pre-loaded with EMS software for hands-on learning

Guest Registration Fee includes:

  • Admission to the Attendee Appreciation Event hosted by EMS (October 2)
  • NOT INCLUDED: Admission to keynotes, sessions, networking events, Beginnger or Advanced Clinic workshops, breakfast, and lunch

How do I pay for the conference?

EMS accepts Visa, MasterCard, American Express (U.S. billing addresses only) and check payments. Payment for all conference fees is requested at the time of registration. Until fees are paid in full, your registration status will remain ‘pending’ and a seat is not guaranteed. If payment is not received by September 20, 2018, your registration will be canceled. Register now at registration page.

What is the cancellation policy?

All full conference and / or Beginner and Advanced Clinic cancellations received on or before September 20, 2018 will be credited and returned less a $50 processing fee.

No refunds on the full conference and / or Beginner and Advanced Clinic workshops will be issued for cancellations received after September 20, 2018.
