Growth, Change, and Success in 2017

As 2018 begins to unfold, we’d like to take a moment to look back at the past year. Our customers made amazing advancements in the modern, digital workplace and campus, continuing to find new and innovative ways to deliver on the employee and student experience. Their willingness to embrace new ideas and technologies has been an inspiration, helping us shape our vision for the future. We look forward to continuing to support our customers and guide them through another productive year.

Here are a few EMS highlights from 2017:

Introducing Our New CEO, Craig Halliday

This year we welcomed Craig Halliday as the new CEO of EMS Software. He has already shown fantastic leadership with a strong vision for the modern campus and workplace of the future, and is eager to continue partnering and listening to our customers at our upcoming user groups, forums, and events. We look forward to his continued guidance and innovative spirit in 2018.  

More Releases, More Frequent Updates

Our larger product releases continue to bring significant enhancements to the EMS Software platform. But more than that, we’re quickly becoming ‘a continuous release company,’ driven by our mission to better enable the success of our customers. We are focused on giving our customers the tools they need in these fast-paced, transformative times.

In addition to our larger releases, we’re now focused on delivering monthly updates that deliver new functionality and features, and ensure that we’re offering you the best product on the market.

In our Spring 2017 release, we formally released EMS Platform Services, allowing for faster and easier integrations to help customers and partners connect more with their EMS Software. We've also announced our Winter 2017 release, which includes a number of exciting academic improvements as well as the highly anticipated Google Calendar Integration.

EMS Software continues to lead the industry as the only enterprise-class space and resource management software, and we look forward to releasing even more exciting products and updates in the new year.

EMS Live! 2017 in Atlanta

Last year’s annual user conference in Atlanta, GA was our largest EMS Live yet. We heard from industry leaders like John Hampton, senior vice president of smart workplace solutions for JLL, and Sean McBrien, senior vice president of Citigroup, on the latest trends in the digital workplace. Linda Martellaro, assistant registrar at the University of Notre Dame, discussed her school’s journey and what they see as the incredible value of a fully connected campus. Many other EMS customers also shared their stories about bringing innovative new ideas to their workplaces.

This exciting, annual event will continue to grow, with even more product education, one-on-one training, and hands-on experiences. EMS Live 2018 will be held once again in Denver, our hometown. Register now for early bird pricing for this special event.

Leading the Conversation About the Future of Space

To bring our customers the best product possible, it’s imperative that EMS Software be a part of the evolving workplace and campus conversation. This dialogue provides us with critical insights into the needs of the industry and our customers and allows us to share what we have learned as well.

That’s why in 2017, we refocused our efforts on attending tradeshows, meeting with partners in the industry, and hosting user forums and Campus and Workplace of the Future events, facilitating how thought leaders and professionals share their valuable insights and strategies. We will continue to do the same in 2018.

New Partners, More Great Choices for Customers

As our list of partners continues to grow, we’re delivering even more integration options. 2017 saw a refresh of our partner program and a recommitment to our partners. We continue to work with recognized names for the hardware and software integrations you need most and to give guidance on the right integrations for your EMS platform. 

Introducing Our New Customer Portal

In December 2017, we launched our new Customer Portal! This portal includes an updated look and improved functionality for a better support experience. Through the portal, customers can fully manage their EMS account, including downloading invoices and viewing account balances and renewal dates. They can also submit and track support tickets, download important software updates, and access a robust library of knowledge articles.
